About Fishes and Loaves
Fishes and Loaves (formerly Food Pantry Ministry) was established in 1997. It is the only FCBC ministry whose purpose is to directly service members of the Harlem and greater New York City community. The ministry provides food to hundreds of families weekly who are in need of support. Specifically, Fishes and Loaves provides fresh produce and bagged groceries on Fridays and bagged groceries on the 3rd Saturday of the month.
FCBC Fishes and Loaves is an Emergency Food Relief Organization (EFRO) that distributes food to clients at any time with a referral letter from any city agency. Fishes and Loaves is made possible through the support of FCBC, grants, and donations. The ministry staff is comprised of volunteers and members of FCBC
How Can You Help?
Volunteers are needed for all pantry and fresh produce distribution times. The ministry asks all volunteers to arrive at least 30 minutes before commencement.
We are seeking individuals who can help in any of the following areas:

Anyone can volunteer, but in order to become a member, you must be an member of FCBC (Journey New Member Orientation completed). Volunteers are encouraged to come whenever they can but we expect members to be more consistently involved.
